Shelby Lew, yoga Instructor
Shelby experienced love at first breath when she discovered yoga and immediately felt called to teach and share the practice with others. Since 2016, she has guided students in experiencing yoga as a way to strengthen the body, quiet the mind, and create space for stillness and personal growth.
Shelby brings grounding, accepting, and freeing energy to her classes, with a special emphasis on stress relief and renewed enthusiasm for life. Through yoga, meditation, breathwork, and sound healing, she supports students on their journeys inward, outward, onward, and upward. Jody shell, art
Jody is a Pittsburgh-based narrative painter whose richly layered work blends abstract elements with recognizable animals, objects, and dreamlike creatures. Haley Tamilia, Yoga Instructor
Yoga entered Haley's life during a time of turmoil and transition. She was pushing her mind and body to its limits as a competitive bodybuilder and marketing consultant, when the stress became too much to bear. At the guidance of her physician and loved ones, she left work and put a pause on training. Yoga helped Haley find stability amidst severe anxiety, supporting her through minutes when seconds felt unbearable. In 2019, Haley earned her 200 hour RYT certification at One Point One and began teaching immediately at local libraries, gyms, universities, and substance recovery centers. She became an instructor at One Point One in 2021, and went on to complete her 300 hour RYT certification a few years later. She discovered Green Heiress in 2024, and was inspired by the unique fusion of wellness practices – from sound healing with giant gongs to the subtle energies of QiGong. She was thrilled to add yoga to the mix, offering Yin & Restore classes that often draw on the seasonal inspiration of Green Heiress QiGong.
Maria Urso, yoga Instructor
Hi! I’m Maria.
Yoga teacher first. Student always :)
My purpose in life is to put my energy into the things that matter—love, harmony, peace, and connection. As someone who never felt physically fit to be a yoga instructor, I finally took on the responsibility and did it my way; mindful, truthful, authentic and starting with the breath. As a certified RYT 200 teacher with Yoga Alliance (and currently completing my advanced 300-hour training), my passion is to lead our community with intention, heart, and integrity by teaching the healing powers of yoga through asana, pranayama, and meditation
What to Expect in My Classes
Whether you want to build fiery, empowering strength in "Yoga Sculpt" or slow it down to find some quiet and clarity in "Slow Flow", my goal is the same. I want to give your mind a much-needed break from the constant social accelerations of always DOING so you can begin to let go and simply start BEING. When you step off your mat, I want you to feel re-connected to yourself, at peace with yourself, and filled with the intuitive wisdom that anything is possible.
Things I Enjoy Off the Mat
When I’m not teaching, you can find creating new macramé pieces, baking fresh bread, hiking + foraging with my husband and our fur baby, exploring local food joints + bakeries in the area, and dancing the night away to good music with my friends and family
